If you miss a class:
1.If you know ahead of time ask a class mate to pick up handouts for you
2.The evening of the day you missed, call/ text your class mate to see what you have missed.
3. Study, you know you will be asked to write the test/quiz when you return.
4. See the teacher at lunch or before school starts to pick up handouts or copy notes missed. Do not ask the teacher at the beginning of class what you missed, she has to teach!
Quizzes and Tests: If you missed a quiz or test, you may take it on the set make-up day. There will be one make-up day per month.
Behavior: It is generally expected that students will behave in a responsible, considerate, RESPECTFUL manner at all times! There is no excuse for impoliteness to other students, to me, or to substitute teachers. Also, PLEASE RAISE YOUR HAND TO ASK OR ANSWER QUESTIONS.
Parent Communication: I am always happy to discuss the progress of the student with the parent. Parents are welcome to contact me either by email or telephone. It is often helpful if I am aware of on going issues such as illness or conflicting activities. I will do my best to contact the parent within a few days.
Tutorial Sessions: If you need extra help, I am available at lunch and after school
